NAWBO-NOLA's February event was held on Thursday, February 1st at the beautiful newly-renovated Jung Hotel. NAWBO-NOLA partnered with the New Orleans Chamber of Commerce and Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses and attracted approximately 100 attendees. Our own President, Tina Meilleur, moderated a stellar panel of four successful female entrepreneurs, all who were graduates of the Goldman-Sachs program.

We began the evening with networking, followed by a panel discussion and Q&A. We then participated in a fantastic happy hour with great culinary bites and a fantastic bar. Those who wanted to meet the panel members were able to continue their discussion. Many great connections were made that night and I have a feeling there will be a lot of follow-up conversations as the members and guests truly enjoyed interacting with each other.

Part of the value of the NAWBO-NOLA membership is the ability to participate in these fabulous, collaborative events with top-notch speakers and guests. The audience members truly enjoyed our panelists and were delighted to hear their honest and authentic responses and experiences.

We hope you will join us at Ralph's on the Park for our March 20th luncheon with Gina Rachel of Postlhewaithe and Netterville, who will be sharing information about Tax Reform and the Impact on Small Business.
