After a year of working together to support each other’s programs and after co-sponsoring a highly-successful “Women’s Growth Champions” NAWBO-NOLA educational luncheon last January, the Goldman Sachs

10,000 Small Businesses program, located at Delgado Community College, just announced that it will come onboard as a NAWBO-NOLA supporting sponsor for this program year.

”We see a real value in working with NAWBO-NOLA so that our GS10K alumni have a great, supportive community in which to continue to learn, to network, and to grow,” said Carla Coury, the Goldman Sachs 10K program executive director.  “We also have the opportunity to further our message and reach more prospective GS10K participants through NAWBO-NOLA’s community programs and events.”

“We see our organizations’ shared mission as such a great opportunity for collaboration,” noted NAWBO-NOLA president Myra Corrello.  “Together, we are offering small business owners a continuum of support.  In the GS10K program, participants learn how critical relationship-building can be to business growth.  Once they have completed that program, we provide them another whole community in which to learn and grow together.”
