March 20th Public Policy Luncheon

NAWBO-NOLA's March event was held on Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at the beautiful Ralph's on the Park. This was our annual Public Policy event and we had a stellar panel from Postlethwaite & Netterville led by our own NAWBO-NOLA treasurer, Gina Rachel, CPA. The title of the session was Navigating Tax Reform as a Small Business Owner. Gina is a director with the firm and secured two additional panelists for us - each with their own specialty. We loved hearing from the highly-engaging and experienced trio of Gina, Kathryn Pittman, and Brandon Lagarde.
W
e began the event with networking, followed by the panel discussion and Q&A. We were treated royally by the Ralph's on the Park staff - from special events staff, servers, and chefs - they made sure every element of our experience was fantastic. Oh yes, trout almandine and pecan praline bread pudding were the highlights of the meal!

The audience members at this Public Policy event truly engaged with our panelists. Each one of us learned a lot, with many of us eager to share what we learned with our business teams immediately upon return to our offices.
We hope you will join us at Lula's Distillery on St. Charles Avenue for our April 11th event from 5:30 -7:30 p.m. We promise super-networking and an opportunity to see and be seen!
