May Educational Luncheon
Profitable information was shared by the exceptional panel at the May 17th lunch meeting of NAWBO-NOLA. Held at Metairie Country Club, the program titled "WBEC South & YOU: A Winning Combination!" included 4 panelists that addressed their personal experiences with increasing business visibility, growth opportunities, and access to new markets and educational resources through WBEC connections and
certification.
Panelists included Courtney Davis-Herbert, CEO of Bart's Office, Inc.; Amanda Weir of Weir Environmental, LLC; Kristen Preau-Moore, President of Cook Me Something Mister; and Rivers Frederick, Supplier Diversity & Development Director for Entergy Corporation.
Moderated by Kelli Mayon, Program Manager for WBEC South, the
unique journey of each of our panelists provided valuable information for attendees.
Also providing connections for the group was Louisiana Economic Development (LED) representatives Tatiana Bruce and Stephanie Hartman.
